Polestar has given us another glimpse at the Polestar 4 SUV, a new variant promising more utility and more glass — yes, really.
Following the first teaser earlier this year, this second sneak peek reveals even more of the upcoming Polestar 4 SUV. Unlike the standard 4 and its coupe-like silhouette, this new variant will feature a longer roof, a more upright cargo hold, and reshaped rear quarter windows.
Speaking of windows, Polestar's original teaser (pictured above) confirmed it will address perhaps the most controversial aspect about the standard Polestar 4's design. This SUV variant will have a proper, see-through rear window made of glass.
Beyond the teasers, Polestar confirmed both the standard 4 and the SUV variant will receive "retuned chassis components" for better driving dynamics. The Polestar 4 SUV will also share the same platform and powertrain options as the standard car, including the 544-horsepower, dual-motor variant, and will likely look virtually identical from the C-pillar forward.
Polestar will fully reveal the Polestar 4 SUV on September 2nd, before going on sale everywhere except the U.S. by the end of the year.
