Honda's had a tough go lately. First, its EV plans massively tanked and the company posted its first loss in a long time. Then, it had to delay updates and redesigns to a bunch of popular but aging models, like the Accord and Odyssey, Now, Honda needs to suspend Ridgeline production for 18 months.

According to Automotive News, sources say Honda will suspend Ridgeline production this fall for 18 months in order to meet tightening emissions regulations in the U.S.

It's unclear how exactly Honda intends to solve this issue, but we imagine it involves swapping in the Pilot and Passport's updated 3.5-litre V6, perhaps as part of a refresh concidentally due out around the same time.

Wouldn't that be something!

Upcoming Fiat Grizzly may hint at the Chrysler Arrow

Last week, Stellantis detailed its plans financial plans through to the end of the decade. There was a lot to cover, and I'm only human, so I might've missed some things. Evidently, the upcoming Fiat Grizzly is among those things.

You see, Chrysler's role in Stellantis' future includes a pair of models called the Arrow and Arrow Cross. We already know they'll be based off "European" platforms, they'll be priced around the US$30,000 mark, and they'll come with multiple powertrain options. However, the final look is still under wraps.

Fiat's side of the grand plan is called the 'Sunny Road to 2030.' It includes the Grizzly, a new small crossover set to debut later this year at the Paris Motor Show. It targets the same benchmarks as the Chrysler Arrow — it's a Euro platform, it'll be affordable, and it'll be available with gas, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

Look closely and the shape of the Arrow and Arrow Cross are similar, too. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to put two-and-two together.
