Ford is rolling out a handful of updates to the Super Duty lineup for the 2027 model year — namely new threads and possibly shuffling around some powertrain options, too.
For 2027, Ford is partnering up with Carhartt to offer a themed appearance package. As long as you're ordering an XLT trim with the crew cab, Ford will happily outfit your big truck with Carhartt logos and graphics all over, a spray-in bedliner, all-terrain tires, and unique wheels inspired by manhole covers. Yes, really.

Inside, Ford says the Super Duty Carhartt's seats are upholstered in a material matching Carhartt's signature jackets and triple stitching. Also standard are Ford's all-weather floor liners, featuring the Carhartt logo instead of the Blue Oval, natch.
Underneath, the 2027 Super Duty Carhartt will be powered by either Ford's new 7.3-litre 'Godzilla' V8 gas engine, or the 6.7-litre Power Stroke diesel with up to 1,200 pound-feet of torque.

Oh, about that — though Ford hasn't made an official announcement just yet, eagle-eyed Ford enthusiasts recently noted the previously base, 6.8-litre V8 gasser is missing from Ford's order sheets, hinting that the Godzilla V8 will become the base engine.
Ford has yet to announce pricing and availability for the rest of the 2027 F-Series Super Duty lineup, but order books for the Carhartt Edition truck are already open.
